Aidan started working in the road transport industry at the ripe old age of 21 and has been involved in most aspects of the domestic road haulage world ever since, finishing most recently in the full load container bracket. Having known Jon for quite some time (their crossed paths in the LCL and cargo handling side of things many, many years ago) Aidan was very pleased when they met up again and Jon offered me a chance for me to join the team at Fred Olsen, in the Logistics division.
Day-to-day it is pretty fast-paced, consisting mainly of problem solving and arranging our deliveries in the most economical and productive manner possible across our fleet of vehicles.
Outside of work Aidan enjoys watching a bit of rugby, saying he is way too old to play any more, and rowing for the Felixstowe Rowing Club based at Felixstowe Ferry Sailing Club.
